Car Audio Amplifier
Vičar, Ondřej ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor´s thesis is design of a four-channel audio amplifier of the power of 4 × 60 W intended for using in cars. The Amplifier is designed with integrated circuits LM3886T and is supplemented by design of a power supply in a form of a voltage converter. The voltage converter is controlled by an integrated circuit SG3525AN and works in push pull topology. All circuits were made and placed in instrument box. On the final device were performed measurements of basic parameters.
Off-grid system and container housing
Filka, Tomáš ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Poláčik, Ján (advisor)
This thesis sums up current possibilities of using renewable energy sources and addi-tional technologies which can be suitable for off-grid systems. Specifically, it describes the possibility of their application to the increasingly common container structures. The first part of this work contains information about history and present trends in the area of renewable energy sources and container housing. The second part shows a concept of such house, completely disconnected from the public grid. The results of this study allow basic insight into the problem and illustrate the practical application of acquired knowledge.
The Autonomous House or Living Grid-off
Chlebný, Radek ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with energy self-sufficiency focusing on the independence of the electric grid. Basic line emanating project form a concrete proposal for autonomous energy supply system. Emphasis is placed primarily on photovoltaic systems, electric energy accumulation and selection of individual components of such a system. Another important part of the thesis is also an economic evaluation of design variations. The thesis also deals with a market research, and thereof derived benefit assessment of each technology. The accompanying chapters are then devoted to the history of autonomous life style or classification of buildings according to their energy performance.
Radioactive measurement with geolocation record
Bali-Jenčíková, Kateřina ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with radioactivity research, types of radioactive radiation and radiation detection. There are described types of ionization radiation detectors. The diploma thesis contains the description and principle of the GPS system function. The content is also a proposal with the subsequent realization of a detection device allowing the recording of geolocation. The resulting device is fully mobile with battery status indication. The results are recorded on the SD card.
Design of a pressure monitor for biomedical applications
Tenora, Jan ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Biolková, Viera (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis was to gather requirements for the realization and functional features of the proposed pressure monitor. Based on the collected requirements, the block diagram and also the complete schematic were proposed. Then the printed circuit board was designed, made and fitted. This board was placed into prepared box together with other components. Finished equipment was tested, set and also precision was checked by its measurement. Finally, user guide and also service manual were written.
MIG/MAG welder with switching power supply
Klejma, Michael ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of welding power supply for MIG / MAG and MMA technique with continuous output current 120 A. The first, theoretical part is devoted to welding process technology, physical characteristics of electric arc and description of individual welding methods. The thesis also deals with the concept of power converter. The design of the switched-mode power supply is based on a full bridge topology. In order to implement advanced controls of welding power supply, the ARM Cortex M4 microprocessor was selected. Due to the large power consumption of the stepper motor for drive the welding wire, an auxiliary switched-mode power supply was also implemented. The documentation describing the realization of the welding power supply and the results of the measurements are in the last part of the thesis. The welding power supply was successfully revived and reached nominal parameters. Inert gas welding has not been tested yet, due to lack of time caused by extensive work in order to complete mechanical realization.
Inverter for single-phase island network
Klčo, Michal ; Folprecht, Martin (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with a design and construction of voltage converter from 12 V DC to 230 V AC with frequency 50 Hz. Maximum output power of this device is 250 W. As a control circuit has been used IC TL494CN. The device includes undervoltage protection, which is applied if the voltage of the supply battery drops and protection against battery overcharging by solar panel. It also develops a proposal for integration the inverter into the island power system.
Converter with very low input voltage
Jaško, Michal ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis describes a design and testing of an increasing direct voltage converter transforming light energy received by a photodiode to electrical energy with sufficient output voltage to power digital circuits. The theoretical part forms an overview of commercial circuits and the Linear Technology LTC3109 and the combination of Seiko S-822Z20 and S-8353D30MC are chosen as suitable for the further research. The function principles of these circuits are described. In the practical part the maximum output power and efficiency dependences on the internal resistance of the power source of the circuits are measured. Based on the results the characteristics of the Linear Technology circuit with different variants of the input transformers are compared. A modified Seiko circuit with an input photodiode is designed and its function is verified by laser diode powering through an optical fiber.
Automotive audio amplifier and subwoofer
Kolka, René ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the project of two performance amplifiers for a subwoofer and for four basic car loud-speakers. The following part of the thesis is dealing with the power circuits of the amplifiers. The control of the amplifiers is realized by processor. The thesis is also dealing with the problems caused by sound system installation in a car, and concerns mainly with the boosters position and with producing high quality subwoofer and baffle-board.
